The program runs on hardware you control, inside the boundary you already defend. It matches how small shops actually operate: a file server, a handful of workstations, and an owner who wants to know exactly where things are.
Built for teams that already live on that stack and want managed identity and storage. This is not an anti-cloud position: done properly, cloud is a fine answer. You choose based on where your data lives and what your contracts require, and the program follows you.
If you are unsure which fits your situation, that is normal, and it is one of the first things a scoping call settles.

What we handle, and what we deliberately do not
Your CUI stays yours We do not hold it
The engagement is designed so your CUI does not need to leave your environment. We help you build the system that protects it; we do not need to hold it to do that.
Minimal data from this site We do not track
Forms on this site collect only what a reply requires: a name, an email address, and what you chose to tell us. No tracking cookies, no address sharing, and traffic measured only with cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics. The details are in the privacy policy.
Straight answers on scope We do not assess
If something is outside what we do, such as performing your official assessment, you will hear it stated plainly. Assessments belong to independent third-party assessors, and the line matters to us.
In the record when the rules are written We show up
DoD opened the CMMC program to reform comment in 2026, and JumpStart is submitting written comment to the task force's industry RFI. A vendor that lives on a framework should show up when it is being rewritten.
